I am interested in how we can use microbiology to solve anthropogenic waste problems and develop fossil-free alternative chemicals and products in engineered bacteria. Work in my lab is mainly focussed on some key bacterial species such as Cupriavidus necator, Pseudomonas putida, and Acinetobacter baylyi, but I am always interested in discovering and characetrising new and exciting microbial species for a variety of biotechnological outcomes.
